I am a BACP accredited psychotherapist with over a decade of clinical experience. I work relationally to help clients explore how past experiences and relationships might be impacting current difficulties. Psychotherapy can help make changes to these often hard-wired patterns and facilitate the development of more healthy fulfilling relationships. By building a relationship based upon trust, empathy and acceptance, therapy enables a greater awareness and understanding of how and where difficulties have arisen and provides the conditions for change to occur.

I specialise in Relational Psychotherapy and draw upon the philosophies and techniques from Psychodynamic, Attachment and Object Relations theories in my work. Essentially this means exploring the impact past experiences may have on our present situation and considering unconscious processes.

I am skilled at using a wide range of therapeutic approaches including attachment work and depth-oriented psychotherapy, internal family systems and parts work, body-based therapies and EMDR.

Areas of Expertise

I have specialist experience in trauma and PTSD, including attachment trauma and trauma within the family system. I also specialise in chronic and long term health conditions particularly autoimmune diseases and energy limiting conditions.
