Hello...

I am a qualified counselling therapist offering a professional, non-judgmental space for you to be listened to with respect and empathy. I support you to explore your issues at your own pace and in a way that feels right for you. I think of therapy as working together to untangle and look for ways to manage emotional and practical issues that are getting in the way.

I have a background in education and have worked internationally including in the Middle East and Asia. My work ranged from primary school teaching through working with asylum seekers and refugees on issues of cross-cultural communication, change and transition to cyber security training. I also have experience of diplomatic and services family life and the challenges that type of lifestyle present, including challenges for family members around boarding school and separation.

Therapy with me...

I offer an initial 15 minute phone call (free of charge). This is an opportunity for you to share what you want support with and ask me questions about how I work to help us both decide if we can work well together and that I have the right skill set to support you. If you decide I might be the right fit for you we would then arrange to meet either in person, online or on the telephone for a 50 minute session.

I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy sessions.

Experience

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) my registration number is 00951234. I have been in practice with clients since 2020. I have worked with clients in Brighton Women's Centre, Psychology Sussex an independent practice, Care to Listen, a low cost agency working with IAPT (NHS clients Time To Talk) and will be working with clients for Horsham and Crawley Counselling Group from August 2025. I set up my own private practice in 2021 and see clients online, on the telephone and face to face in a home office near East Grinstead and in Hove.

I work with people experiencing issues around anxiety and low self-esteem, relationship problems whether with an intimate partner or family and friends, people in transition or struggling to decide next steps either professionally or privately.
