Hello...
Hey my names Jenna I am a queer therapist based in Paisley I can work online or face to face. I specialise in attachment styles and addiction working with individuals couples and polycules.
I am integrated trained meaning I work to how you lead the sessions and I don’t work in a strict format. Sessions can be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly whatever suits you.
Do you lay awake at night thinking about your problems? Do you have feelings of sadness or tense about certain situations, have you lost a family pet or difficulty concentrating feeling angry or your sleeping habits are all over the place? If you answered yes to any of these then I can be the person to help you. Doing something new is never going to be easy and you won’t feel 100% comfortable but I can insure you will be treated with safety compassion, non-judgemental and your own autonomy within our sessions, these are your sessions and you decide what happens.
Therapy with me...
I don’t work in a one size fits all basis if you go to your doctor and say you aren’t feeling very well you might get referred for counselling you’ll get CBT you will need to wait in a long waiting list and be given a limited number of sessions and sent on your way, but with me I work with CBT but I also have a range of different tools I use to help you feel more you. I identify your needs and provide different tools to provide solutions allowing you to work on yourself outside of sessions and in the future. My sessions are never limited and are open ended allowing you to have as many sessions as you feel you need and allowing you to come back when life gets a little bit too much again. Book today to ensure your needs are met because if not now when?
Experience
I work private practice as a therapist whilst Volunteering with ChildLine and a crisis centre prior to counselling I worked in mental health hospitals as a mental health nursing assistant and studied at university before going on to complete my masters. On completion I worked at the spark where i trained as a couples counsellor.
