Hi, I'm Sarah Jane Hudson. I'm an art psychotherapist working in private practice in Sevenoaks, Kent and also online.

Therapy with me...

I offer a warm, empathic non-judgemental space for one-to-one therapy. I have an integrative training which means I can draw on a number of different theories according to my clients’ needs.

I work creatively; I believe that using the arts can bring a new level of understanding to the work. We learn from playing: it aids curiosity and encourages discovery as well as helping us to reflect and process difficult feelings.

You do not need to be an artist or have art experience to have art therapy - just a willingness to explore. Any activities are always invitations - talking therapy is always an option too!

Experience

I have five years' experience working for the NHS seeing patients who have experienced complex trauma, and five years' experience working for West Kent Mind. For the past two years I have been working in a secondary school seeing students on a one to one basis as well as running groups. I also have my own private practice in Sevenoaks.
